Important Things
to Remember
1.  Always do some
research of the company
you are considering.  
Google is your friend.

2.  Know the difference
between a Mover and a
Broker.  If you have a "too
good to be true estimate"
from a company you
found online, 9 times out
of 10 the estimate is from
a broker.  Brokers will
then sub your move out to
someone else.  You may
never know the real
company moving your
items till they show up.  
Sometimes these
companies are not
licensed or insured.  
When you hear stories
about people getting
ripped off on a move,
most of the time they hired
a broker.

3.  Always ask for an
in-home estimate.  Avoid
any companies that will
not come to your place
and actually look at the
items to be moved.

4.  Stick with a local
company.  There are no
bad movers in this area.

Rates are based on size, weight, access to home, availability, notice given, stairs, and the
size of items.  Prices are generally higher in range on moves that need to occur on
weekends and at the beginning and end of the month.
