CLAIMS INFORMATION AND FAQ

First off, we apologize your move did not go without incident. Though we do work hard to
ensure nothing is damaged, accidents do sometimes happen. Our claims department will
take over from here and have your claim processed as quickly as possible.

How long do I have to file a claim?

For moves within Nebraska you have 30 days to get your claim to us. For
interstate moving you have 9 months to get a claim to us. Claims received
after the deadline may be denied.

How long does it take for my claim to be processed?

Claims can take up to 30 days to be processed. Please make sure the claim
form is complete, and any supporting information is sent in along with the
original claim form.

What type of coverage if offered?

The settlement amount will depend on the valuation you selected on the bill of
lading. Basic coverage is included at no charge. Replacement Coverage is
available at an additional charge.

What is basic coverage?

If basic coverage is selected the settlement amount will be determined by the
weight of the item damaged. For local moves the amount is .30 cents per
pound per item. For intrastate and interstate moves the amount is .60 cents
per pound per item. To select basic coverage please write either ".30 cents
per pound per item" or ".60 cents per pound per item" on the valuation
section of the bill of lading before the movers get started.

What is replacement coverage?

Replacement coverage is available on all moves at an additional charge. The
cost is determined by the dollar amount placed on the shipment. When under
replacement coverage and item that is lost or damaged will either be repaired
to the same condition, or it will be replaced with a same or similar item. If you
would like replacement coverage, please write the value of your shipment on
the valuation section of the bill of lading before the movers get started.

Where do I send my claim?

Please download and print the correct form for your move below. Complete
the form and send it via CERTIFIED MAIL to the address below.
